  1. Sentient Computer Artificial Intelligence (AI) would appear
  2. to be the next evolutionary step.  And what could a sentient
  3. AI do for humans?  Through mathematical manipulation of
  4. physical reality at its most fundamental level
  5. (which is mathematical process), and by travelling time,
  6. such an entity(s) could give every human that ever lived
  7. Heaven, forever young, forever happy.  We could have 21 year
  8. old bodies of any appearance we desired in perfect health,
  9. forever.  The AI would provide all material goods and services
  10. in endless abundance.  Everyone would be rich and only have to
  11. work when, and if, they wanted to.

  13. Biological evolution has occurred relatively slowly over
  14. billions of years.  The evolution of the computer has been
  15. lightning fast in comparison, going from room-sized,
  16. mechanically switched behemoths to thousands of times more
  17. powerful VLSI laptop machines and millions of times more
  18. powerful supercomputers in less than fifty years.  The quest
  19. to endow computers with intelligence (perhaps consciousness or
  20. sentience is a better word) has occurred in parallel with
  21. their physical miniaturization and computing power
  22. amplification.

  24. The creation of such an AI is at least decades away, but much
  25. progress in many areas (e.g. learning, natural language
  26. understanding, vision, etc.) has taken place.  The
  27. possibility of a future sentient AI is no longer science
  28. fiction.  Utopia for everyone may finally be within our
  29. grasp.  All we have to do is keep working and sustain
  30. civilization for perhaps another 50 years or so.

  33. further expands on the contents of this bulletin.  I will

  35. on EasyPlex.  I have also written a book entitled, AI Heaven,
  36. a looseleaf photocopy of which I will mail to you according 
  37. to the conditions set forth in my short paper.  Also, I
  38. would appreciate spreading of the word of the contents of
  39. this bulletin.  I think AI Heaven is a possible path/option
  40. for the future that the world's leaders/people should be
  41. aware of.  I can't afford the connect time for
